You will visit ancient Luri Gumba, the palace of Lo Manthang, exquisite Choser cave where Milarepa is said to havemeditated. The latter part of the trekking follows Mustang trekking route along the famous Kaligandaki River Gorge which is the deepest gorge in the world between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri .

Only group trekkers are allowed in Upper Mustang and trekkers are required to obtain special permits from the Nepalese government. The best time to do Upper Mustang trek is the period between February and November.
